ROOF REPAINT

A client may just wish for their roof to be repainted which we can offer. We will still carry out a free roof inspection to ascertain roof condition and discuss options with you as some tiles or metal sheets may need replacement prior to painting. We offer a standard 3 coat system using Dulux Acratex Product which both Clean and Colour and Dulux offer a 10 year warranty on the roof coating from peeling and blistering. All local environmental laws are followed as dirt, pollution and oxides from the roof must not enter our local waterways.

Full roof restoration

A thorough inspection of the roof to determine tile quality, condition of cement work on ridge capping, check all flashings on gables and roof extrusions. Photos of the area of concern are taken to explain what repairs are required.

Roof is professionally cleaned with an industrial strength pressure cleaner. Where necessary ridge capping is re-bedded, replaced if required and fully re-pointed using Selley’s ridge adhesive mortar. All broken tiles that might cause leaking are repaired or replaced. Roof flashings are replaced if required. Gutters and fascias are thoroughly washed down during the cleaning process. Our tradesmen ensure that your home is washed down from any roof debris. All local environmental laws are followed as dirt, pollution and oxides from the roof must not enter our local waterways.

Application of Dulux Sterilising solution to be applied to any cleaned cement tiled roof prior to application of Dulux Primer Coats. Along with covering all solar panels, hot water systems, skylights and patio roofs to avoid overspray.

Depending on the tile or metal surface of the roof will determine primers required. The application of two coats of Dulux Acratex or Weathershield with clients colour choice will complete the process.

As an approved Dulux Acratex applicator Clean and Colour along with Dulux will provide a 10 year warranty on the roof coating from peeling and blistering.
